Join us for Embarkation Day aboard the Disney Fantasy on a 5-Night Bahamas Cruise from Port Canaveral as we take you through the full first-day experience for a family with kids.
This Disney Fantasy itinerary visits Nassau, Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, and Castaway Cay, giving us both of Disney Cruise Line’s private island destinations on the same sailing.
We started our morning at Disney’s Riviera Resort and used Disney Cruise Line ground transportation to get from Walt Disney World to Port Canaveral. From there, we walk through the port arrival, boarding process, and first moments stepping onto the Disney Fantasy.
Once onboard, we have lunch at Cabanas, explore the ship, give a full Category 09B Oceanview Stateroom Tour for room 2052, and check out several of the kids and teen spaces, including Oceaneer Club, Oceaneer Lab, Edge, and Vibe. We also watched the Sail Away party, did some shopping around the ship, and enjoyed dinner at Animator’s Palate.
Since this was a 5-night Disney Fantasy cruise, there wasn’t a main stage show on the first night, so the evening was more about settling in, unpacking, exploring the ship, and getting ready for the rest of the cruise.
