Hello,
our daughter has been hooked on these cute rainbocorns lately. They have so many different ones it is hard to keep up, but our 3 year old who is on the autism spectrum with some mild hypotonia, doesn't seem to have a hard time at all. She knows exactly which one is which. She absolutely loves these plush toys and would buy one every day if she could!
I do have to admit they are cute and so soft, come with fun surprises and have the cutest names. Honestly I would probably also be addicted to these if they had them when I was younger.
You will get some glimpses into how an autistic toddler deals with toys, what she likes about it, how she handles it, her sequence in opening up a toy, and her way of shopping for it.
One thing I have to say about her is that usually she has one toy in mind, will go into the store and look for that specific one and even if you offer to buy her other toys she will refuse!
Today she did seem to want the little pig she found and the rainbocorn, but in the end she did not even mind one bit taking only one.
Also it's fun to hear how her communication has evolved and how we as parents try to do the best we can with the few keywords she gives us.
This is the rainbocorn we got: https://amzn.to/3sodEEd
