Watch the Charles County Board of Education's May 13, 2025 meeting. The meeting featured reports on the school system's special education and community schools programs. The Board was also presented with some changes to next school year's operating budget and feedback from surveys on the school calendar model and changes to the english language development curriculum. Students and staff were recognized from Westlake High School, Theodore G. Davis Middle School, Billingsley, Dr. Samuel A. Mudd, Indian Head, Mt. Hope/Nanjemoy and William B. Wade elementary schools. The Board also recognized winners of this year's Ruth Ann Hall awards and the 2025 Charles County Principal of the Year, Nicholas Adam of J.P. Ryon Elementary School.
