Shopping Online in Thailand

A subscriber recently asked if it was possible to order items from Amazon and have them shipped directly to Thailand?

While Amazon does deliver to Thailand, in my experience, I have always encountered expensive international delivery rates and customs charges on the items that I've ordered.

The Thai customs website details how much they charge for items imported and these rates vary depending on the type of item you order.
